Soursop is a fruit whose Scientific name is Annona muricata, but it also goes by the name GUANABANA, GUYABANO, PAW-PAW, SIRSAK, SASALAPA, and GRAVIOLA. In Sri Lanka, it is called as “Katu Anodha”.

Soursop is a member of the Annonaceae family. It is a fruit, which grows on trees, is large and oval-shaped. It is green on the outside and has spikes and has fibrous white flesh with seeds. They grow up to about 8 inches.

    Can one cook this soursop leaf before drinkibg it…?
    And if one decides to combine the guava leaf and soursop can he as well cook or boil it in other to reduce kill some microbs and parasites that grow along side with leafs ?

  3. Thanks alot for this wonderful information. but.I am not too clearr about the duration one should take this soursop leave tea to treat and cure cancer of any kind. because, I am certain cancer can not be treated under one week
    secondly are the leaves to be boiled or just heated up?

    Just get 3 to 6 leaves of Sousop and Gauva leaves every day, and boil it with water, take half glass in the morning and half glass at night for one week. Take a week break and repeat again.

  6. Can soursop work for high prolactin levels. Plus which herbs can I take that works effectively because I’ve been on doctor’s prescription and still no changes. Pls help
