The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control has reported 389 new cases of #COVID19 in the last 24 hours with LAGOS remaining the epicenter with 256 cases.

The country has recorded 2501 recoveries but sadly 254 persons have succumbed to the deadly virus.

Kogi state which has been free of coronavirus all this while due to refusal of the governor to allow NCDC do testing in the state has finally recorded 2 index cases. They have been reported to be undergoing treatment in one of the state isolation centres in Lokoja.

Edo, Katina and Rivers have experienced steady rise in coronavirus cases in the past 2 weeks. Perhaps, a breakdown of cases across the states in Nigeria will make this clearer.
