Homemade Custard Powder is better healthwise and more nutritious.

Eating custard is not completely bereft of benefits, however. It does provide a good amount of calcium, calories, proteins and offers a substantial dose of B-vitamins, especially vitamin B12. Naturally, homemade custard that does not have the extra additives is much better for you than the store-bought varieties. Regular consumption is however not encouraged for the following reasons: eating custard too much can lead to weight gain and an increased risk of cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, and cancer. Homemade custard powder contains lesser ingredients and lesser health risks.
