What is Antalgex T used for??
For the relief of moderate to severe pains
INDICATIONS OF ANTALGEX T
– Postoperative pain
– Ankle sprain pain
– Subacute lower back pain
– Orthopedic pain
– Musculoskeletal pain (acute, subacute and chronic), particularly in patients that do not respond to NSAIDs or DMARDs (for instance in arthrosis and rheumatoid arthritis)
– Pain from peptic ulcer or stomach ulcer

THERAPEUTIC INDICATIONS:
Antalgex T is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of moderate to severe pain.
The use of Antalgex T should be restricted to patients whose moderate to severe pain is considered to require a combination of tramadol hydrochloride and paracetamol.
POSOLOGY AND METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION:
ADULTS AND ADOLESCENTS (12 years and older and from 50 kg)
The use of Antalgex T should be restricted to patients whose moderate to severe pain is considered to require a combination of tramadol hydrochloride and paracetamol.
The dose should be individually adjusted according to the intensity of the pain and to the response of the patient. An initial dose of two capsules of Antalgex T is recommended. Additional doses can be taken as needed, not exceeding 8 capsules (equivalent to 300 mg tramadol hydrochloride and 2600 mg paracetamol) per day.
The dosing interval should not be less than six hours. Antalgex T should under no circumstances be administered for longer than it is strictly necessary.
If repeated use or long term treatment with Antalgex T is required as a result of the nature and severity of the illness, then careful, regular monitoring should take place (with breaks in the treatment, where possible), to assess whether the continuation of the treatment is necessary.
CONTRAINDICATIONS OF ANTALGEX T USAGE
👉Hypersensitivity to tramadol hydrochloride, paracetamol or to any of the excipients of the medicinal product,
👉Acute intoxication with alcohol, hypnotic medicinal products, centrally-acting analgesics, opioids or psychotropic medicinal products,
👉Antalgex T should not be administered to patients who are receiving monoamine oxidase inhibitors or within two weeks of their withdrawal,
👉Epilepsy not controlled by treatment.
👉Severe liver failure
