During the festive period, I came across one of those “hide my identity posts” in which a lady stated that she was pregnant but never had sex as her hymen is still intact.

And no, she didn’t get pregnant through the help of the holy spirit.

Lolz.😂

From her story, she said she had romance and foreplay with her boyfriend on the agreement that there will be no penis -vaginal penetration because she wanted to preserve her virginity for reasons best known to her.

But after the foreplay,her boyfriend requested for lap sex to enable him cum , which they did of course.

A month later, she expected her menses but it wasn’t forthcoming.

So, she thought she was having delayed menstruation because she once experienced it in the past.

However, this was not the case this time around. The second month passed but still no menses. She then had to run a pregnancy test in a private laboratory and unfortunately for her,the pregnancy test read positive, which means she is pregnant.

She said she was confused and skeptical about the Pregnancy test result, reason being that she is still a virgin.

Nevertheless, she went home and related her Pregnancy status to her boyfriend and to her dismay,her boyfriend denied responsibility for the pregnancy on the basis that he has never had penetrative sex with her.

So, she became emotionally broken and wanted to know if it’s possible for a virgin to get pregnant without vaginal sex or maybe the lab scientist that conducted the test mixed up things and gave her a wrong result.

But you know how Nigerians can be, instead of giving her meaningful pieces of advice, majority of people ended up shaming and mocking her.

Just few days ago, someone sent me a question related to this issue,so I thought it wise to enlighten us.

Is it possible to be a pregnant virgin?
Yes, it’s very possible!

Apart from medical procedures such as intra uterine insemination (IUI) and in vitro fertilization (IVF), it is very possible for a virgin to get pregnant through dry humping or lap sex.

All it takes for a Pregnancy to occur is a contact between a fertile sperm and a fertile egg. It doesn’t matter whether there was vaginal penetration or not.

It doesn’t matter whether the semen was ejaculated inside the vagina or on the lady’s pant. This is because the semen can still soak through her pants and enter the vagina and since sperm cells are good swimmers, pregnancy can occur if the lady is in her fertile period.

In summary,if you are a lady who wants to preserve her virginity for any reason known best to you,it is advisable you completely stay away from any form of sex.

Even if you want to engage in lap sex, ensure that your man wears a condom or doesn’t ejaculate near your vagina.

Better still, you can take contraceptive pills to avoid pregnancy after the lapsex,in case you are not sure whether his semen entered your vagina or not.
