UTME/POST-UME/JAMB cut off mark for medical Laboratory science in OAU.

Medical laboratory science (MLS) is a highly competitive and sought after course of study at the Great Obafemi Awolowo University. Fresh secondary school leavers and JAMBITES should study very hard to be able to pass UTME and beat the cut off mark of OAU for medical lab science.

Cut-off mark for OAU’s UTME:

just like all A-list federal universities, you must score at least 200 in Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) to be eligible to sit for OAU post-UME. Anything less than 200 automatically screens you out of OAU’s POST-JAMB (except in special situations where the national performance is UTME is generally poor, some schools reduce their cut off mark to write POST-UTME to 180 or 190 but this is very unlikely). Try as much as possible to score very high in JAMB so that your chances of scoring high in OAU entrance exam for med lab science will be higher when both scores (JAMB and Post JAMB) are aggregated.

You love to study Medical LAboratory Science at OAU right? Work hard to score 270 in UTME. When 270 is aggregated and added to your POST-UME, total will be high and your chances of admission will double if not tripled.

OAU POST-UTME CUT-OFF MARK

I don’t know what obtains right now but as at last year, OAU writes their POST-UME entrance exam as JAMB conduct theirs: the total score is 400. Students applying to study MED LAB SCIENCE are given questions from English Language, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Current Affairs and sometimes from even Mathematics. If you want to gain admission to study a highly competitive course as Medical Laboratory Science in OAU, read very had and score at least 270 and above in their post UME…

If OAU post-ume score is aggregated over 100, make sure you score at least 68 or 70 in their post-UME to increase your chances of gaining admission to study Medical Lab Science.
