Are Yodi pills (Orji pills) results permanent for weight gain, hip enlargement, bigger buttocks?

I work as a pharmacist and I noticed that women from age 20 to early 50s comes to get YODI tablets (dexamethasone) to enlarge their buttocks. Some are still taking it .

YODI PILLS, YOKEBE, ORJI PILLS, XASTEN are not drugs to make your buttocks bigger or make you gain weight!

They are steroids with “fluid retention” as one of the side effects!

The weight you think you’re putting on is excess water/fluid.

IT IS NOT GOOD FOR YOUR HEALTH

Dexamethasone, the active ingredient in Yodi and others belongs to a class of drugs called corticosteroids, they resemble cortisol a natural hormone produced by the body that control stress, metabolism, immune response, inflammation, blood sugar level, etc.

Are Yodi pills results permanent
This is how yodi pills look like

Corticosteroids lower inflammation in the body, they reduce immune system activity, reduce swelling, itching, redness, allergic reactions and so they are prescribed for conditions like asthma, arthritis, lupus, some skin problems, Multiple Sclerosis, COPD, organ transplant, etc.

Fluid retention especially in some parts of the body, is a major side effect of steroidal use and it is explained by fluid and electrolyte imbalance associated with corticosteroids.
It usually happens on prolonged use and mostly disappear once the yodi pills is stopped. This means the results of yodi pills for weight gain or whatever body enhancing desire is not permanent. Immediately you stop taking yodi pills, all “achieved” results disappear.

Other side effects include acne, high blood pressure (as a result of fluid retention), cataract, stomach irritation, mood changes, osteoporosis, diabetes, Cushing’s syndrome, reduced immunity and susceptibility to infections, myopathy, thin skin and others.

For people on prescription steroids, note that your prescriber has weighed the risks and benefits before placing you on steroid.
Prednisone, dexamethasone, triamcinolone are corticosteroid types. Also, corticosteroids differ from anabolic steroids which are performance enhancer.

Steroid use for weight gain or increase in buttock size is indiscriminate and detrimental. However, exercises like squatting, lunging, bridging, abduction have been proven to work with consistency.

Always here for questions and clarifications.
