Can whisky terminate or prevent pregnancy?
A lady want to find out the alcoholic drink, whisky , can prevent pregnancy or terminate an already existing pregnancy.

I a sexually active female and yesterday I had unprotected sex 3 days back….immediately after I drank a bottle of whisky to flush it out..will whisky prevent me from getting pregnant. Also there was a time I was pregnant last year, I effectively used whisky to abort the pregnancy. ..so I feel sibce whisky has the ability to terminate pregnancy, it can also prevent pregnancy ….am I correct? Can I use whisky as contraceptive and also for abortion?

Greetings to you….I understand you are trying to ask me two different questions….one is whether whisky can prevent pregnancy and the other is if whisky can be used to induce abortion…My answer IS NO…YES I MEAN NO. Whisky is not a contraceptive and can never be used to prevent pregnancy.
According to Wikipedia , Whisky or whiskey is a type of distilled alcoholic beverage made from fermented grain mash or by distilling beer. Various grains (which may be malted) are used for different varieties, including barley, corn, rye, and wheat. Whisky is typically aged in wooden casks, generally made of charred white oak. You can see that it does not contain any ingredient that has contraceptive property and the ability to cause miscarriage or an abortion.
Whiskey is a popular alcoholic drink and does not prevent pregnancy…or terminate pregnancy…
So Jenifer, here are some ways you can effectively prevent I unwanted pregnancy:
How to prevent pregnancy 3 days after unprotected sex?
It is not possible to prevent a pregnancy, using the morning after pill, more than 5 days after unprotected sex. If you are concerned that you may be pregnant, you can do a home pregnancy test from the first day of a missed period, or if your periods are irregular at least 21 days after unprotected sex. If your pregnancy test is positive and you are not sure you want to be pregnant, you can discuss this with your General Practioner, family planning clinic, or sexual health clinic.
If you have had unprotected sex within the last 3 days, you may be able to prevent a pregnancy by using emergency contraception like postinor, postpill, plan B etc.
