I think it is time for Clean and Clear to pay me advertisement fees😁. I made a post about a month ago reviewing their salicylic acid cream cleanser for gentle cleansing (washing) of the face. I stumbled on it when I couldn’t find my regular face cleanser. I have adult acne too.
I was pleasantly surprised about the product as I’m not a clean and clear fan per se normally. I have received positive feedback about the product and I’m glad I made the unbiased review. It was way cheaper than my regular cleanser and less drying to the skin..
I received another review via DM from someone who said his wife has used so many products and this helped her in just a short period.

What is salicylic acid?
Salicylic acid is a keratolytic. It belongs to the same class of drugs as aspirin (salicylates). It works by increasing the amount of moisture in the skin and dissolving the substance that causes the skin cells to stick together. This makes it easier to shed the skin cells. According to Wikipedia, “Salicylic acid is used as a medicine to help remove the outer layer of the skin. As such it is used to treat warts, calluses, psoriasis, dandruff, acne, ringworm, and ichthyosis. For conditions other than warts, it is often used together with other medications”.
PS:
You can use a product with salicylic acid on areas of your face prone to blackheads, dark spots and pimples.
