SIDE EFFECTS

The possible side effects of Indian snakeroot include: hypotension, nasal congestion, changes in appetite and weight, nightmares, drowsiness, and loose stools. Some people have reported depression, muscle aches, headaches, chills, dizziness, nausea and vomiting.

Serpentina has many uses that could benefit our health. The plant has very low toxicity and no cases of overdosage have been reported.

Perhaps it is because unlike any other herbs, you won’t wish to have more than the recommended dosage due to its extreme bitterness.
