FLASH: NCDC Confirms 14 new cases of COVID-19 as total cases in Nigeria rises to 288.

The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 14 fresh cases of COVID-19 taking Nigeria’s total cases to 288 with 7 deaths and 51 discharged. The new cases were reported in Lagos and Delta states.

The NCDC made this known to the public yesterday night via a series of tweets from their verified Twitter handle:

“Fourteen new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria: 13 in Lagos and 1 in Delta State As at 09:30 pm 9th April there are 288 confirmed cases of COVID19 reported in Nigeria.

Fifty-one have been discharged with seven deaths.
