NEW: NCDC confirms 8 fresh cases of COVID-19, total cases now 232.
The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control yesterday night announced 8 fresh cases of COVID-19 spread across Lagos, FCT and Kaduna.
This new cases have taken Nigeria’s total tally to 232 with 5 deaths and 33 discharged.
The NCDC made this known via their verified Twiiter handle:
“Eight new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Nigeria: 5 in Lagos, 2 in the FCT and 1 in Kaduna State.
As at 09:30 pm 5th April there are 232 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. Thirty-three have been discharged with five deaths.
