does amoxicillin kill worms in humans?

Many persons have asked me if they can use amoxicillin as deworming medicine….here is the truth. Amoxicillin is an antibiotic and has no effect whatsoever on worms or parasites. You cannot use amoxicillin to deworm yourself.zdont waste your previous times. Amoxicillin does not kill worms in dogs , neither does it kill worms in humans.
As a popular antibiotic, amoxicillin is used for the treatment of vaginal infections, boils, skin infections, ear infections, pelvic inflammatory disease, pneumonia, urinary tract infection. Amoxicillin is made up of penicillin and clavulanic acid. Amoxicillin has not anthelminthic property or antiparasitic property….if you have worm infestations, go and get suitable deworming drugs like Albendazole and mebendazole.
Amoxicillin does not kill worms in humans or in dogs..
Be careful when taking amoxillicin , because of its penicillin content , it can cause severe allergy.
