Sometimes if not all the time, persons living with chronic kidney diseases or patients with acute kidney injury will require a dialysis machine to help carry out the statutory renal function by filtering out toxic waste from the blood… According to the Nephrologist Association of Nigeria, over 25 million Nigerians have kidney problems and close to 100,000 of them will require dialysis to stay alive. Not all hospitals in Nigeria have dialysis machines or are even dialysis centres. I have decided to take my time to list out all the dialysis centres in the 36 states of the federation (Nigeria) including Abuja.
