We all desire a smooth and clear face with no pimples or blemishes. I am going to tell you how you can you turmeric or rice water to naturally achieve a smooth face below.
1. TURMERIC
Dear friend, TUMERIC can cure at least 3 of your common skin issues and give you a smooth face.
Let’s see how:.
First of all, let’s talk about the risk:
According to the National Center for Complementary and Integrative HealthTrusted Source, USA, turmeric is generally considered a safe product when used orally or topically.There are no known side effects of turmeric used in Skincare. Though in skincare it’s always advisable to perform a patch test on a product (whether already made or natural) before use.
To do a patch test on tumeric, make a tumeric mask and apply a small amount on your arm.
Wait at least a day, and if no reactions develop, it’s likely safe for you to apply the turmeric mask on your face.
Don’t use the mask if any redness, swelling, or itchiness develops on your patch test.
However, allergies are few but in skincare we don’t take chances.
Now straight to business;
1. For Acne and antibacterial concerns:
Mix tumeric powder with warm water and honey.
2. For hyper pigmentation and wrinkles:
Mix tumeric with yogurt and lemon juice for lightning effect.
3. For irritation:
Mix tumeric with aloevera for soothing effects.
No matter which recipe you chose to make, leave the mask on your face for 10mins. Rinse thoroughly with warm water, and apply a serum and moisturizer of your choice.
Don’t forget to wash your hands before making any recipe. Tumeric can be messy so be careful not to let it come in contact with anything. It will leave a deep stain.
Don’t leave overnight as well if you don’t want your house to turn yellow
Try washing your face with milk if it leaves a stain on your face after washing off with warm water at first. You can use this mask 3 times per week.

2. RICE WATER
I once shared this recipe, that “rice water with some other ingredients can repair your face”
Well, just that same rice water alone can clear your dark spots.
See how you gon do it;
– Buy rice.
– wash off debris and dirt’s.
– soak/ferment for 4hrs in water.
– sieve.
– store in a jar and refrigerate.
Mode of application:
– Wash your face with water.
– Dip cotton wool into the rice water.
– And Clean your face with it.
– clean down to your neck.
– apply a serum, preferably vitamin c SERUM.
A 2013 study showed that rice wine (fermented rice water) can help improve skin damage from the sun. Rice wine increases the collagen in the skin, which keeps your skin supple and helps prevent wrinkling. Rice wine also appears to have natural sunscreen properties.
It will help relieve:
– dry skin.
– repair damaged hair (wash your hair with it)
– eczema, Acne, rashes and inflamations.
– sun damage protection.
