FLASH: NCDC confirms 22 new cases of COVID-19, total tally now 276.

The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 22 fresh cases of COVID-19 taking Nigeria’s total cases to 276 with 6 deaths and 44 discharged. The new cases were reported in Lagos, Abuja, Bauchi and Edo.

The NCDC made this known to the public yesterday night via a series of tweets from their verified Twitter handle:

“Twenty-two new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria: 15 in Lagos, 4 in the FCT, 2 in Bauchi, 1 in Edo.

As at 09:00pm 8th April there are 276 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria.

Fourty-four have been discharged with .. deaths.

As at 09:00 pm 8th April, there are 276 confirmed cases 44 discharged 6 deaths.
