In the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, ventilators are one of the most sought after medical equipments in the world today because some people with COVID19 may experience severe respiratory distress that may require mechanical/artificial ventilation .
According to Wikipedia, a ventilator is a machine that provides mechanical ventilation by moving breathable air into and out of the lungs, to deliver breaths to a patient who is physically unable to breathe, or breathing insufficiently or having a respiratory difficulty.
The Dailytrust today, reported that there are a total of 169 ventilators in 16 states of the federation with some states having none while most are broken.
