JUST IN: Nigerian Govt confirms 14 fresh cases of coronavirus, total cases now 65.
The National Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (NCDC) this evening announced 14 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 taking the nation’s tally to 65.
According to a series of tweets from the verified handle of the NCDC:
“14 new cases of #COVID19 have been confirmed in Nigeria:
1 in FCT,
1 in Bauchi
12 in Lagos
Of the 14, 6 were detected on a vessel, 3 are returning travellers into Nigeria and 2 are close contacts of a confirmed cases .
As at 8:35 pm 26th March, there are 65 confirmed cases 3 discharged 1 death.
