JUST IN: 2 New Cases of Coronavirus confirmed in Lagos and Ogun, total cases now 42.
The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has just announced two new cases of coronavirus in Lagos and Ogun taking Nigeria’s total cases to 42, Lagos total cases to 29 and Ogun to 3.
The NCDC disclosed this in their verified twitter handle this afternoon:
“2 new cases of #COVID19 have been confirmed in Nigeria.
1 is in Lagos State and 1 in Ogun.
One case is a returning traveler.
The second case is contact of a previously confirmed case As at 1pm on March 24, there are 42 confirmed cases of COVID19 in Nigeria -2 discharged, 1 death.

Lagos is now the epicenter of COVID-19 in Nigeria.
