Kano state government finally acknowledges ‘strange deaths’, says they were caused by complications from hypertension, diabetes, meningitis and acute malaria.
The state government refuted the wide spread claims that the sudden deaths of people in large numbers in the state was caused by coronavirus.
Recall that over 640 persons have reportedly died of unknown causes in Kano for the past 2 weeks and stalkholders are calling for an inquest into the cause of deaths.
As as the time of filing this report, it is not known whether the latest statement on the strange deaths in the state was report from autopsy findings.
