COVID-19: Kano State 4 Isolation Centres in pictures.
Kano leads again as 4 isolation centres were launched in the State. The prime centre has 70 beds, 27 ICU beds with their ventilators , and 20 “oxygene” concentrations in the Kwanar Dawaki centre.
The Kwanar Dawaki Isolation Centre is a standard facility that can handle multiple cases at a time, and it is also a disease diagnostic institute which means other research can be conducted to find remedy for future outbreaks in the State.
Apart from the Kwanar Dawaki Isolation Centre in Kano, the State Government has also identified Madobi IDP Camp which will serve as a quarantine facility in the event of an unlikely outbreak of Covid-19 in Kano. The facility can accommodate upto 200 people at once.
