FLASH: All the 3 suspected cases of coronavirus in Lagos have tested negative – Lagos State Government
The Lagos State government have just now disclosed to the public that the earlier reported 3 suspected cases of coronavirus have tested negative and they have been discharged.
Prof Akin Abayomi the state commissioner for health disclosed this in a tweet on Friday evening.
“All the three #COVID19 suspected cases; travellers from France, England and China whose samples were collected yesterday for analysis have tested negative and they have been discharged,” he said.
The Prof yesterday during a press briefing informed the public that there were 3 suspected cases under isolation in the containment facility in Yaba.
The one from France is a Nigerian who developed headache and cough but was prompted detected at the airport. The other two were Chinese nationals coming from England and from China. Their samples were been taken immediately and sent to the lab for analysis. Results this evening have certified the three of them negative.
