HERPES LABIALIS OR COLD SORES UNCOVERED!

Patient: I have a sore by the side of my lips, they (Medics) said it’s Malaria.

Every Medic: LIESSSSSSSS! We never said such.

Here’s a an informative and hopefully fun thread on Herpes Simplex Virus.

HERPES SIMPLEX VIRUS (HSV) : a subliminal bad guy that can be majorly grouped into two.

HSV-1 : This is mostly characterized by the presence of a sore on the lip.

Most commonly attributed to Malaria (by my Country people) and this is FALSE.

The sore on the lip caused by HSV-1 are commonly called ‘cold sores’ or ‘fever blisters’ because the virus can surface again during cold or heat. It can also surface again due to; stress, weak immunity from diabetes, HIV, cancer, etc .

HSV-1 can be transferred through kissing (body contact with oral fluids)

The sore usually heals, but that doesn’t mean HSV has been cured.

Rather, it goes to relax on vacation island known as the NERVES ( bad guy I tell you).

HSV-1 can also affect the eyes or genitals, but MOSTLY the lips.

HSV-2: This bastard is Sexually Transmitted. It also can be characterized by sores in the genitals of the infected person, the anus too sometimes, but as earlier said, the sores heal and the virus goes into hiding.

HSV-1 And HSV-2 infection is for life and there isn’t any CURE

HSV-2 a STD has chances of being transferred even through the use of condoms (courtesy the bare exposed parts).

HSV-1 And HSV-2 infections are for life. There are no VACCINES nor CURE, just management and prevention. Acyclovir tablets or creams may help relieve symptoms.

It is highly deadly in children and can be transferred from Mother to Child too

Fun fact: Over 50% Of Americans have HERPES. (Meaning no frolicking at the beach Of Miami Florida anyhow). Source: WHO👇

50 perfect of Americans have herpes- WHO

Conclusion: Stay protected sexually, note visible sores on yourself (lips and genitals mostly), consult an awesome Medic, If positive avoid body contact with others.

Footnote: In a case of reoccurring sores, please visit your Doctor, because it shows that your immune system might be or is low and this can be due to several factors.

So I reiterate; kindly pay a visit to your nearest hospital in cases of reoccurring sores.
