FLASH: Another 4 fresh cases of COVID-19 confirmed, total cases now 139.

The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control and Prevention has announced four fresh cases of coronavirus taking Nigeria’s total tally to 139 with 2 deaths and 9 discharged soonest far.

The NCDC confirmed this in a series of tweets on their verified twitter handle this night:

“Four new cases of COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria; 3 in the FCT and 1 in Lagos
As at 08:00 pm 31st March there are 139 confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported in Nigeria.
Nine have been discharged with two deaths.
As at 08:00 pm 31st March, there are 139 confirmed cases 9 discharged 2 deaths

In a nationwide broadcast on Saturday , the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, has ordered a total lock down of Lagos, Ogun, and FCT for a period of 14 days so as to curb further spread.

The fight against coronavirus is a joint task and we all need to play our part.
