ICYMI: Benue records first case of coronavirus.

Benue, a state in the North Central part of Nigeria has recorded its first confirmed case of COVID-19 according to reports from the National Centre for Disease Control and Prevention. The NCDC did not tell if the person got infected from abroad or had it from community transmission.

In a series of tweets from the NCDC:

“8 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Nigeria, 7 in Lagos and 1 in Benue State.

As at 04:00 pm 28th March there are 89 confirmed cases of COVID -19 reported in Nigeria with 1 death.
